The Wraith's anatomy can be some what complex,if one who looks at it doesn't know what they are looking at.Wraith have probably one of the most interesting layouts ever,Their bone structure alone is unique compared to some creatures.Their immune system is very strong,they have great eye sights,however their sights are some what different from normal sight.Their strength varies,their sense of smell is different,their organs are also different.We will go down the line with as much detail as we can about the Wraith anatomy.
Wraith skin: Wraith have an interesting color of skin, black.Yet when light hits it,the skin itself shines in a ray of silver.Some believed this to be due to the fact of their silver markings,but it has appeared on ones who bare no such markings.The black skin allows them to be better at stealth,they are pretty much invisible in shadows ,only if you shun a light in the shadow would you see them.Not only that ,but due to the darkness of their skin,most can confuse them with drow,this also gives them stealth as they can through their enemy of by framing the drow race.Their skin is pretty resistant to weather,it is able to soak the sun rays in the day time,which can keep them warm.Though this is also a down fall as in the summer they tend to dress as less as possible to avoid heat stroke and pass out.None the less still a trait that does have purpose and down falls.
Wraith Muscle structure:Not all Wraith are strong, some are built smaller.This doesn't mean they lack any muscle then a larger one,just that their muscle can not take as much strain as a larger wraith.Their Muscle structure is design to move with their bones,They can be harder to tear then say a common human muscle.They have enough victims and protein to heal much quicker then other races,like other races they can be build up and strengthen through exercises and training.Theirs not much on the subject of their muscles as its not to much different then other races.
Wraith Organs:Wraith do not have regular organs like most races,such as the heart.Wraiths do not have one heart,but four small hearts.All placed in different locations of their body,not in the chest cavity like that of a normal human,lycan,or vampire heart.Their stomach,not something they need but is something useful to them,it can take out what tiny aura are left in food,depending on how long ago it was killed.Though Wraith can't truly eat from the dead,given that once dead the aura is gone or tainted,in some cases with animal, the aura almost never taints.It doesn't give them enough to full up,but enough to tie them till they find source.Their stomach is smaller then a human stomach,as it is not a major function as humans.The lungs are interesting on itself,their are two sets,meaning their are four lungs.One filters toxic out of the air,the other set sends the clean air into the body.Wraith are able to last in a toxic environment longer then other races,however they must not stay to long in such environment or else they to will be subjected to the toxins in the air as they need clean air to keep the purifying lungs purified.I will say yes wraith do have intestines however their not like normal human intestines and are located in a different area then humans.They are under the stomach,but located in the back near the spine.We'll just say yes Wraith can have bowel movements when eating normal foods.
Wraith Bone Structure: Technically Wraiths don't have bones,they have shards for bones.These shards are small and compacted to form a bone structure,this can enable a wraith to shape shift,however it is a very painful processes that most wraith don't both to endure.It can cause the muscles to tear,when under such great stress,it cause alot of stress to the body.Wraith are unable to ever shift into any animal form as they can't grow fur,plus the shift would like kill them from the pain alone.That and there is a possibility that if they did,they never be able to shift back. The up side to such a structure is that you can never truly break their bones,the shards give out the structure before allowing to be broken,then realigning themselves back up.The shards,when out of a wraith body, are sharp on both ends,their surface is smooth like glass.Do not be fooled,they are not fragile as glass,they are harder to break,almost like metal,but not as strong.They can break, but its a hard task to do and you have to be hell bent on wanting to.
Wraith Senses and Sights:Scent,Wraith have a interesting way of tracking.They can smell normal smells, but they can also smell aura.People often don't realize that their aura gives a smell off,this tends to lure any aura eating creature to them.They can smell aura,but not off clothing amazingly enough.Only on other people,they can smell others aura on another person, they can smell where they have been,but clothing seem to for some reason lack some way to hold the aura onto it.Sight,wraith sight is something to be treasured.The Wraith not only can smell aura,but they can see it with out having any magic training.Not only can they see it,but they can see trails of it,like trails of where a person had been,so long as it hadn't been too long since that person left or if its a very frequent place that people gather.However,they can only see this in darkness,as in the light it is very faded to them and is hard for them to see.Though it is said that the twilight hours are when the colors are at their brightest,they can been seen perfectly at night,but twilight is the magic hour.The aura they see is colors,they see the color and knows whose it is.
That is the basics of a Wraith anatomy,just things to know should you ever dissect one or treat one.Will say this much on their immune system, its strong and can keep them from getting any common/weak illness however a very strong one ti can't fight back, ti can try,but not much luck.Though it has been know to kill of lycan curse,as they don't have a normal blood to sustain such a curse in their system.That and also their blood is poison to vampires,because they don't have red blood,this makes it toxic to them as their blood is blue and more of a gooey texture.Their blood is something they do use in things of their own creation such as salve,a wraith salve has been know to work quicker then a normal salve.Thats all that is known for now on Wraiths anatomy structures and blood.

Path of Rights
Path of Rights
The first step is age,it can varies from older to younger.Though age only plays to the point of mental maturity,amazingly enough sometime the younger are more mature mentally then the Wraith that are older.Another reason they wait till certain age is weapon use,a child can not use a weapon as they couldn't do much with one.When a Wraith is a certain age,they are taught how to defend themselves,this plays a part to prep them for The Path of Rights.When a Wraith reaches the age that they might be able to take the quest,they are taught to study for it,it is not the same for everyone.
The second step is combat training,this helps as a Wraith has to leave its home out into other areas,they can't simply through their own out and hope they survive.That would be stupid and barbaric,Once they reach age they are trained in many ways and weaponry.This was to show which weapon best fitted them along with style of fight,once they learn which is best they spend a lot of time to perfect their moves.They are to train night and day,until they can defeat their master or mistress in a duel.This only can take a few years as not everyone can adapt as fast as others,though Wraith have been known to be one of the fastest to adapt.Never the less, they are to train in combat till they can defeat their master or mistress,this proves they are ready for any thing that might attack them on their quest.
The third step is meditation,now they can't simply go out on the quest with out some mental strength already.They train through meditation,encase of a mental attack,now they don't train as much as they do with combat as its rare they endure a mental attack.Most species don't use mental weapons,but physical weapons.When in meditation,a Wraith is helped with a master.They teach them how to drown out all noises and distractions,so that no matter where they are they can meditate to build up their mental strength.Its rare they ever have any issues with mental practice on the quest,but still required.
The fourth step is journey,once they passed all training and given the approval for The Path of Rights quest,the next step is journey.They can travel into the forest of the land their clan is on,but they MUST be ALONE from other Wraiths,they are not allowed to be with their own in this quest.The reason being is to teach them to be on their own encase their clan is wiped out to where one survive,they can survive with out their brothers and sisters.A sad thought to think of,but to be prepared for such a thing is better.Another reason is so they can become their own person,they Wraith all share minds together,this is great,but also bad.Reason being is that it makes it harder for one to be their own,having others in your mind can have you starting to act and be that person instead of yourself.So to keep this from happening, they must travel away from their own kind.They are aloud to stay in the same land as their race,so long as they stay away from them,most though don't think they can do that or think it would be more a challenge if they leave the lands all together and explore.This is highly recommended as it shows true strength and those who do this are given high honor if they succeed on their quest.Sometimes the Wraith never come back,but send word to their clan they came from,the clan sends a high priest or priestess to judge if they passed or not.When they are approved they tend to start a new clan in the lands they have traveled to,this is smiled upon as they always love to spread their race out further.
The fifth step is inner self,this is a series of meditations and socialization.Meditation like before helps build mental strength,but also helps them to look in on themselves.All Wraith are neutral by nature,but they have been known to take sides.Most Wraith actually stay to the side that protects the land they live on,their not stupid enough to destroy their home.That and they actually like the living of the plants and lands,very few can actually see its aura.They maybe children of Thanatos the god of death,but that doesn't mean they don't respect life,it is the golden rule,to respect live and death.Any Wraith that breaks this rule is forsaken by Thanatos,so any Wraith that doesn't obey this rule is a rouge Wraith,sadly their is one in every race.Socialization is a big one in the quest,this shows that a Wraith can get along with other races.Not all Wraiths like to talk,they don't think they are better or that they are more superior then other races,they just don't feel they have a lot to say or contribute.There are some that will talk your ears off,as other races intrigue them.A Wraith that socializes,shows they can survive with out a clan,that they can get along and that they have a cool head,instead of being combat happy.Wraith try not to fight,unless need too,they prefer to talk,however if a weapon is pulled on them first,they will pull theirs and defend themselves as with any race that has a weapon pulled on them.This also shows what kind of person they are becoming,by the friends they make.
The sixth step is protection,a Wraith must protect the land they live in,even that which lives in it with them.Wraith are a packed creature,they don't really let anyone fully in,however they won't just sit and watch friends that they made get pushed around.They will stand up for those they consider friends and close to them.Protection shows responsibility,shows that they are strong enough to keep friends and allies from harm.Shows which side they take,if they choose a side,shows how strong they are in their walk with Thanatos.Wraith protect deferent from each other,it also depends on if their a warrior or not,a warrior typically will protect,a mage uncommonly known to and a commoner is rarely seen to protect.This shows how far one has come in the quest,now soldiers are trained to protect their own kind,so if they are willing to protect anything not of their own race,shows they are not closed minded.A mage tends to protect when it muse them,so a mage who jumps out in danger to through their life on the line shows they are not full of themselves.Commoners usually are more fearful,would rather hide then fight,so a commoner who takes up arms and is willing to be on the front lines shows courage.
The seventh step is the final step,this step is the last step,this is the test to show if one will pass or fail.In this step,they must have completed all steps before this one,must have witnesses that can vouch for them.This step also says weather their be a new clan in a new land or not,shows how well their races name was upheld.The last step is wisdom,they must be wise in everything that they have done.Once they pass,they can then find a mate and carry on their blood line.Shows that they are their own person,that they can live with out their race and can even go as far as to start a clan in a new land.To rise up from ashes and that they can make allies and be rational in a tense situation.If they are on the same land as their clan,they return home and a celebration is made,even if they are in a far land and choose to return the same happens,however if they choose to stay in the far away land a ritual is done,where they all meditate at once and link together all clans of their race.They celebrate mentally and share all the emotions and thoughts together.

The Path of Rights is a hard quest to pass,it can take years for one to pass it.To even pass the fourth step.Only the ones ready and understand what this quest is may take it,they can prove to their race that they are strong with in themselves.It is a great and wonderful feeling when passing such a quest,lots of Wraith want to take the test,but only a few ever get approved to do so.

History of the Wraith (rough draft)
Wraith were created by Thanatos the god of death, Thanatos created them to help aid soul takers with their battles against unwilling souls.Soul takers job was to help souls pass on to the next life weather it be hell or one of the heavens.A wraiths job was to feed off all the aura to make the life weak and easy for a soul taker to take the soul as it wouldn't have strength or aura to fight it any longer.Wraiths are one of the oldest demons that live in Thanatos realm, they were the second race to be created.
The Wraith started out in the tunnels of the realm,they dig and build into it. They would find ruins their god made and would live in them,fixing them up and had an ability to adapt much faster then most demons.Wraiths were not a very demanding race,they tend to keep to themselves and work together.
The first Wraith made, didn't last to long against other demons of the other realms, few survived and through this they learned,Wraith are one fo the few races that are able to sexually reproduce.Thanatos wanted a breed of demons that could some day be considered a race, it had been his plan always.
The Wraith started becoming a packed type breed when they realized by watching other breeds how weak they were against a breed that stood together.Wraith actually taught the demons in Thanatos realm how to stand together and thus making Thanatos realm, the second strongest realm next to Chaos realm.
This worried some of the gods, as now they could be subjected o an attack ad wouldn't be able to defend themselves from the over powering forces of Thanatos realm.Wraith became the most feared,for when they fought,it was savage like.They didn't know much at the tiem on how to fight,so they fought int he way they thought was best and it worked for a few years.
After years of feeding form the Auras of the ones not in the realm of the gods, they started to learn order and living.They started to test these in their own realm, setting up a system.They had their fighters and warriors, their gatherers,and their knowledge keepers.They began marking their warriors, this was of their own nature as they figure it make easier for them to tell which is which when not in battle.
They learned to keep libraries of their race, how they came, who they worship,when did they start to build their race.The Wraith become more and more organized over the years.They learned of the Vampires, and how they feed off blood.They started to bite the necks of their victim to hide their trail, to use the vampires as a cover.They kept their race hidden for thousands and thousands of years.Had their god not unveiled them to the outside realm, they probably remained hidden.
The gods worried on how quickly the Wraith adapted, how fast they learn and how strong they became.They feared that the wraith would over power the whole realms and kill everyone.For this they move to Azure god of life to have them destroyed,Thanatos not liking this moved to have his children be put out of the realm of the gods to live with the others int eh outside realm.Azure fell in favor of Thanatos and thus the wraith were made a race and given one of the sky lands as a home, ruins of a kingdom built into the side of a mountain,the wraiths praised Thanatos and lived as a free race.

Wraith Race
Wraith is a Spirit/Ghost like creature.Wraith means spirit-Ghost in Greek,it is a creature that lives and feeds off the aura or life of others,they feed through the mouths on their hands or with a poisonous bite that paralyzes the victim while they feed off the aura.Wraiths are shape shifters and are mostly marked as part of the demonic race,depending on how one views them.They can be aggressive if felt threaten or need to defend one self.The Wraith have some vampiric traits such as heighten senses and agility.Wraith have a special day on the night of a full blue moon,they ascend into their spirit like form,they are peaceful and non aggressive in this form,the point of this ritual is so that they may understand themselves better and make their link with their god Thanatos strong,The Wraith believe Thanatos has their creature since he is the god of death.The wraith are a pack type race, tend to stick with their own.The Wraith do have weakness, they tend to keep underground or in dark places, as their eyes can allow them to see int he dark,this makes them blind to bright lights shine into their eyes,how ever the sun doesn't bother them as bad since its not in direct to their eyes they can adapt to it abit better then if it was directed into their eyes.Wraiths can not feed off the dead unless the dead is giving off a aura and even then a wraith has to be careful for if the aura is tainted it can make them sick and weaken them,Wraith can't feed off vampires for they can become addicted to the vampiric aura and Vampires of the pureblood nature have such long lives that if a wraith becomes to involved feeding they might feed off the soul and become berserk or insane.Wraith can not eat the soul of anyone,souls react badly to a wraith it messes with their minds and makes them berserk or go insane.Long periods of not eating makes a wraith berserk or frenzy,a state in which it can not come out of.Wraith are effected my Sun stones, the sun stone is created by the sun god,Wraith are more nocturnal creatures so the stones if in contact with a wraith, can pull them out of spirit form, revert them from the form they shape shift into back to their common form, and can burn into their skins.Placing a sun stone can render a Wraith temp paralyze,depending on where it was placed.Sun stones have been known to be made into weapons to better attack wraith.Wraith when not in spiritual form can be effected by any weapon, however they posses the common vampiric trait of healing.Wraiths bleed blue blood,this is the common and best way to find a Wraith when tis shifted to hide with in a crowd.Wraiths Ability to shape shift comes from their bones,they do not have a normal bone structures.The Wraith bones are like shards,when looking at the bone, it is clear and the surface feels like glass, but it is stronger then glass or vampire bones.Shape shifting is a painful thing for a wraith, as it is the shard bones moving and reconnecting into a new form,their skin has to stretch and move with the bones to keep from ripping.Wraith teeth, are sharded at the tips,most the tip a wraith will have issues with closing heir mouth,having an overbite, or having their jaw shifted to the right ro left.It is uncommon to see a wraith able to shut its mouth perfectly.The Wraiths war cry is that of a high pitched shriek, ti alerts near by wraith that it is in trouble and needs help,In battle a wraith will gives its opponent a hiss,as it strikes at it with its claws or weapons.Wraith mark their warriors based on what weapon they use:Close range weapons wielders have a tribal silver marking and sometimes even silver metal markings on their skins,Long range wielders have Celtic silver markings along with metal markings on their skin,Spies have silver vine like markings on their skins along with maybe metal markings of the same design,and mages have silver arcane markings with only one metal marking,which is of their arcane rune mark.What wraiths look like: Wraith all of them have pitch black skin and hair,no wraith ever look different,they have only three different eye colors that glow in darkness,bright green,yellow,and orange.Only one Wraith in recorded history was ever different and ti was the albino wraith, tis a very rare Wraith and almost never survives new born stage.It is a very special Wraith, they are pure white from the hair to the skin, they have light blue eyes.It is rumored that they are more in tuned with Thanatos.They can longer with out feeding then a a normal wraith, they can see aura that is not in complete darkness.Wraiths eyes allow them in darkness to follow aura trails left behind the person who was once there,a albino wraith can see it even in light.
